Back from Holidays...

All right, just came back from holidays, went to Malaysia. More specifically, went to Sitiawan, my mum's former hometown...then Malacca.

The whole holiday lasted from 20-27 Nov...and boy........was it tiring sia...Had flu and blocked nose every nighon the mattress , really awful feeling and unable to get good sleep...Lots of thoughts running through my mind about my schoolmates and classmates...

Oh well, apart from that, I spent most of the days at the plantation playing PS2 Games, seriously, the atmosphere there is very relaxed and quite slow to begin with. You can actually fish, which I gave up halfway in the early morning as they aren't really biting. Also, when the sun shines on you, you can feel the intense heat rays on your skin, Singapore was much better in terms of the heat.

The main purpose of this trip was to not only relax, but also to attend my cousin's wedding, held on the 20th. Practically almost the same compared to 3 years ago, that time it was the elder brother of my cousin. The same = Went to the church nearby where the wedding was held, took pictures, had a break, pay respects to the couple, nuptial tea, 2 wedding dinners - one of each from the couple's parents. It was way better than last time, as I was the one to snap pictures of the couple and at the dinners. I also accidentally forgot to take off my shoes when I went up to the dais to snap pics, whoops, so I sincerely apologised from my mind about the mistake, remembering to take up my shoes the second time I went up.

OH YEAH....the wedding dinners held on the 21st and 22nd were damn LOUD! On the 21st, the speakers and large subwoofers were placed on the darn floor, and my parents, brother and I, were sitting rather close to one of them. Boy...you can imagine the large vibrations while eating, so my mum secretly passed me some small, squashed tissue paper to my brother and me to prevent us from going deaf. Seriously, the singing was so LOUD and some people had some candid poses while singing. Wow, they are really into this XD... (Controlled my laughter and kept a still face while eating so as to show respect hahas...) Gahh, I was almost deaf despite the stuffed tissue papers in my ears X_X

So...yeah, there were all Hokkien, Chinese songs...no English songs if I remember correctly...

Fortunately, the dinner on the 22nd was better; the subwoofers and speakers were attached to the walls ABOVE the ground darn it...The vibrations from the singing were tolerable this time lol...

We left Sitiawan on the 26th in the morning around 10, as we had booked a room at the Makota Hotel in Malacca. Nice view from the 17th floor though, I could almost see the whole place from the balcony... (Apart from the flu at night, tossed and turned for an hour, so slept outside on the sofa and finally got to sleep for 2 hours :P) Breakfast today was a buffet, but restricted myself from eating too much lol, didn't want to get too fat :X and too bloated after breakfast.

Went shopping for stuff while tagging along with my parents and cousins, sure was pretty boring...since my parents had bought my stuff at Sitiwan before the Malacca trip.

Overall, it was a relaxing trip to the rural places of the world, no Internet, mobile phones(Didn't bring mine)...but had a console to entertain my brother and me XD. Yeah, apart from the wandering about shopping centres feeling bored and the terrible flu, I say again............it is a good trip.

Currently typing till I can sleep sia, the flu is bad so I took some medication and awaiting the drowsy effect to come on...
